When it comes to upholstery – not only do we care about what we make – we care about how it is made! Our experienced staff uses only the best raw materials from soy based foam, cotton felt to certified hardwood frames.
Interior Designers bring their clients to Gresham House and know that no matter what size or style – Gresham House furniture is built to last.
It all starts with the frame. Five quarter CDN hardwood, corner blocked, dowelled, screwed and glued – only the best!
You thought that sinuous springs won’t last? The way we do it – they will last forever!
For those who want web and coil – we are proud to do it, and we do it well.
Feel our arms, feel our backs, they are padded with cotton felt and green foam to provide comfort that will last. This is not an assembly line .. each piece is upholstered from top to bottom by the same upholsterer.
Standard seat cushions are made with eco friendly foam that is extremely durable and wrapped with a soft fibre – channeled so that it won’t move around, finished in a cotton casing to ensure durability. You can feel the weight of our cushions – only the best!
For a luxurious sit, try our feather blend. 100% waterfowl feather wrap for seats with a foam core and 60% waterfowl feather, 40% fibre for our backs. For the ultimate luxury, choose our down fill (20% down, 80% waterfowl feather in the backs and envelope wrap seats).
Each piece is hand cut individually in order to ensure that patterns are matched – no lay cutting here!
Our piping is cut on the bias and sewn individually, our experienced sewers sew the welt to the band and the sew it a second time to the casing … we don’t cut any corners!
*If you are a certified Interior Designer or Interior Decorator we would love to work with you!

Be sure to get him to yodel for you when you visit us.
Everybody loves Marilyn! She is the energy of Gresham House. With a degree in Native Studies the leap to furniture was natural??!!! Marilyn is a study of contrasts. Don’t let her zany enthusiasm fool you; if there is one thing Marilyn knows it is furniture. Marilyn has worked in the retail side of the business which gives her the edge when it comes to customer service. Paired with her mentor, Max, they are an unstoppable duo.
Having graduated from the Interior Design Program from Sheridan College, Kimberly worked for many years with a prominent design company before branching out on her own. With 15 years of experience in the industry, she joined our showroom sales team in 2015.
Her perfect sit is the 7120 chair, which reflects her modern aesthetic preferences. She would live in the Twilight house, if it wasn’t for her four boy’s ranging in ages from ten-two. Drop by her house for dinner and not only will you have a delicious meal, but you may also be witness to spontaneous salsa dancing in the kitchen.
With her diploma in interior decorating, and experience in the design field working with an established firm, Joanna understands the needs of our designers. Joanna loves our classic pieces, and her go to piece is our #7104 round ottoman. We love Joanna’s laugh which you will hear on our instagram account as she showcases our swivel chairs.
After graduating with a Business Degree and further studying Design, Susan has accumulated over 25 years experience in the furniture and design industry. Susan has enjoyed working in many parts of this industry, as a retailer with a small design & decor shop, as a buyer for a prominent furniture retail store and as a designer, which led her to Gresham House to reunite with Marilyn to become her right hand lady. Susan’s vast experience and ability to see the bigger picture has helped Marilyn build a solid foundation for the business. Susan naturally transitioned into manufacturing as our marketing and product development specialist.
