Sewing Machine Operator

  • Read and follow instructions on production tickets 
  • Work with light, medium and heavy weight fabric and leather.
  • Sew topstitch and welt.
  • Ability to work with industrial sewing machines, serging + zipper + topstitch (double needle) machines.
Work Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30 or 7:30am to 4pm

  • Team player and must work well in a factory environment attention to detail + ability to think through job at hand 
  • Ability to work with cutter and upholsterer
  • Appreciation for high quality workmanship
  • Ability to work with all different types of fabrics, heavy and leather. Must keep area clean and tidy and attention to health and safety is priority
  • Flexibility in be able to take new suggestions and able to work in constantly changing needs

Showroom Sales


Ability to present a quote on standard and custom pieces in a professional and timely manner
Establish new designer accounts, and provide showroom and factory tours as needed.
Showroom layout and design: ensures showroom is well kept at all times + rearrange showroom to showcase new pieces + all showroom pieces are ticketed correctly
Receive fabrics, manage wood, stud samples and GH Studio fabric program




Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm



Team player and must work well with other departments and the factory/ warehouse staff
Ability to listen to the needs of the designer, and facilitate while abiding by the needs of the factory.
Welcomes clients in the showroom and answers questions and assists with fabric  and furniture choices
Works with all different clients and has patience in dealing with changes
Prepares quotes, ensures that all items are detailed properly, attention to detail
Answers phones and responds to inquiries on fabric, delivery times, etc.
Appreciation for high quality workmanship and detail orientation
Creative flare and has an “eye for detail” workmanship
Great relationship builder who establishes strong alliances with vendors, designers, etc.
Attention to health and safety at all times
Flexibility in ability to take new suggestions and able to work in constantly changing needs
Must have experience in the home furnishings, design industry
